The landscaped grounds and historic buildings across the estate have been here for centuries, and are currently looked after by The Ushers, a husband and wife team whose family have been part of the estate for over 100 years.
For your festive event, there's a plethora of sites that would work wonderfully for eating, drinking and being merry, such as The Pavillion which comes with rustic wooden trestle tables and cross-backed chairs, a soft furnishings area next to the bar for socialising, as well as a sound system with space for DJ or live band.
Then, there's the Stable Yard which boasts stylish soft furnishings, decorative plants and candle lanterns to set the mood. While it might be a little chilly in December, the team is also happy to light the fire pits which are perfect for getting some air and having a chat.
With any soiree, it's always helpful to have on-site accommodation and if you're inviting friends, family or colleagues from across Scotland and beyond, you'll be thrilled to hear there's lots of options across the estate. For larger groups, the three cottages each have capacity for six people, making them an easy option with self-catering facilities for the morning after, too.
