As an arts and media members club known for its lively atmosphere,
The Groucho Club is clued up on how to throw a top-notch party. The bonus is that event spaces can be hired by non-members, and the recently added Christmas lunch packages are all inclusive.
The idea is to simplify the festive evening offering into something more concise for daytime dos, so that bookers can secure a one-off fee for the space, food and drinks from 12pm to 4.30pm.
It all kicks off with a cocktail or glass of champagne, before the main event (the meal) with unlimited house wine and beer. All you need to do to get it organised is pick out one of four rooms, choose between two menus, and well, that’s it. Bish bash bosh.
We like the Snooker Room for more intimate affairs, while the Gennaro Room suits larger numbers of up to 60 guests.
As for the food, choose between a traditional roast Norfolk bronze turkey with all the trimmings or roast Scottish roe deer served with a bone-marrow crumb and mashed potatoes. Of course there are starters and desserts to make it a real feast too, and mince pies to go with the tea and coffee.
Prices start from £1,553 for 18 guests between 16 November and 22 December. Get in touch to find out the price for your group and reserve a date here.
