You organised it, so you might as well look your best for it. We’ve got five beauty offerings you should treat yourself to
Hair
A wash (there’s nothing like a little scalp message before a night out) and blow-dry (bring on those bouncy curls) can refresh anyone after a day in the office. The stylists use pins and a curling iron for some added texture – rejuvenating some much-needed volume if you’ve got thin hair. The result? Springy, even locks that wave naturally. They also stayed curly all night. If you prefer a straight-hair look, they can handle that too, as well as braids. You’ll walk out looking and feeling – let’s be honest – better than you would’ve if you’d tried doing it yourself.
How long? 45 minutes
The cost? £27 for a wash and blow-dry

Skin
Treat your complexion to a lift at Face Gym
Face Gym’s Signature Electrical workout consists of small slaps, vigorous rubbing and pummelling that reawakens muscles before a derma roller gets collagen levels up. The Face Gym Pro device is the real game changer though. As the ‘trainer’ moves this gadget across your face, an electrical current makes muscles spasm and skin tighten. After a slathering of serums and a cold jade-stone massage, you’re done. The end result? Cheekbones are visible again and stress lines vanish. Impressive.

Nails
Get a manicure in a bank vault at The Ned
The five-star hotel’s in-house Ned Nails parlour is our top shout for pre-party manicures. Opt for the Shellac CND Manicure, which takes the classic treatment but adds a longer-lasting polish for event-proof nails. First, pick a colour (with the aid of a glass of prosecco), before being treated to a classic manicure: file, shape, cuticle work, buff, paint and moisturise. You’ll love the ambience – old-school charm (oyster shell bucket seats) meets modern touches (Cowshed products). The team can also do nail art for an extra fee – did someone say snowflakes?

Brows
We’re pretty sure that the Duchess of Sussex made sure she had her signature brow treatment before her big day this summer. That look is The Audrey Brow at Mayfair’s Nails & Brows. Designed by celebrity brow stylist Sherrile Riley, it’s inspired by Audrey Hepburn and gives those who wear it a natural yet defined look. The team here are pros at tending to over-plucked, over-waxed brows so no need to worry that they won’t have enough to work with. The interiors are pretty slick too – bright, white and covered in marble – we like.
How long? 20 minutes
The cost? The Audrey Brow costs £50, while other treatments start at £29

Lashes
Photo by Mihai Stefan on Unsplashl
Janette Vince and her team are known for being eyelash extension gurus and her treatment list is astounding. We didn’t know ombre, mermaid, or real mink lashes even existed, but if you want them these guys can do them. For your party though (and bearing in mind you’ll probably have to wear them in the few days leading up to it) it might be safer to go for the entry-level Lash Coverage. This will see you have your lashes extended for a fuller yet not-too-OTT look, with an initial consultation to establish exactly what type of look you’re after followed by a quick lash clean. Then, be prepared to keep your eyes closed for the duration. Talk about relaxing.
How long? 75 minutes
The cost? The Lash Coverage treatment starts at £95
