Common down
Winterville will return to Clapham Common from 15 November, with more top-notch street food, festive concoctions and fun activities. There are no set packages so Christmas parties are bespoke – whether you require a private tent for 50 or large-scale hire for 4,000. Traders will serve nosh from around the world and activities will include anything from crazy golf to roller disco. The eclectic drinks list also deserves a mention: boozy hot chocolates, frozen pumpkin spiced rum and hot buttered bourbon – yes to all of the above, please.
New York state of mind
Twickenham Stadium loves a good themed Christmas party. This year, shared and private dos in the Home of England Rugby’s suites will channel ‘A Fairy Tale in New York’, with packages covering everything right up to the DJ’s final tune at 1am against a Central Park-inspired backdrop. Twickenham Cellar’s vaulted stone ceilings and candle chandeliers, meanwhile, are well suited for hosting ‘Dickensian Christmas’ dinners: after champagne on arrival, guests will sit down to a three-course meal, including orange and tarragon roast turkey carved at the table. Yum.
Sound idea
With 3,600sq m of space and 43 meeting rooms, Emirates Old Trafford’s Christmas dos are big business. There are plenty of shared and private packages to choose from, with live music playing a huge part: ‘Christmas Extravaganza’ nights (1, 7, 8 and 14 December) will feature a 90-minute set from a seven-piece band, while the ‘Work’s Finished for Christmas’ party (21 December) will see performances from an award-winning saxophonist and a top DJ. Need something more intimate? The ‘Pavilion Christmas Party Night’ (15 December) will take place in the Lancashire Cricket Members Suite and feature a festive three-course meal.
See you in Vegas
You can zoom right back to the glory days of 1960s Las Vegas at

Packages for anything between 10 and 1,800 guests include a cocktail reception, entertainment on arrival, unlimited booze, a buffet or three-course meal, and live music through the night. Prices start at £125pp, with exclusive and shared hire available.

If you love street food, edgy industrial locations and festival vibes, Street Feast’s Dinerama could be the alternative Christmas party you’ve been looking for. Split over two levels in a former bullion truck yard, the Shoreditch venue will be hosting bespoke Christmas parties for up to 1,000 guests, with log-burning fires and no fewer than eight bars keeping guests in the spirit. Top-quality street food traders and DJs complete the picture.
