What: Tesco Finest Festive Chicken & Bacon Wrap
Why: Tesco's chicken and bacon wrap is a more premium choice for those wanting something a bit nicer for their lunches this winter. What: The New York Bar Christmas Sandwich 
Why: This one is a little bit pricier than the other options, but you can enjoy this delicious sandwich in the beautiful surroundings of the New York Bar. Packed full of Norfolk turkey, pork and apple stuffing and truffle Baron Bigod, then served with fries and cranberry mayonnaise - as well as a couple of pigs in blankets - it's an indulgent seasonal treat that will get you in the Christmas spirit. Coupled with their specialty cocktails, such as the Santa's Sipper, it's the ultimate festive celebration.

For those who want nothing more than a complete roast between two slices of bread, you’ll find it here, packed full of overnight-roasted turkey, smoked bacon, pulled turkey thigh, a hefty sage and onion sausage patty, with smotherings of herby mayo, crispy onion and parma ham crumble. Why: Straying slightly from your usual festive sandwich, and swapping out the turkey for cheese, Orée Boulangeries is combining seasonal flavours with its beloved French craftsmanship to bring you this year’s sarnie. Served on shokupan, Japanese milk bread, this sarnie is packed full of shredded duck, pickled onions, fresh spinach, and crispy red cabbage, and slathered with a spicy peanut sauce and ranch dressing. There’s truly something for everyone in the sarnie, and completely different to anything else you’ll find on our list! A side of prawn crackers just seals the deal with this one.

What: Wagyu Sando
Why: Japanese chain Sticks ’n’ Sushi might not have been your first thought for a top notch sarnie, but this year they’ve whipped up a treat, offering traditional Japanese flavours with a rather luxurious twist. Served in perfect squares of toasted brioche, this sando features slices of grilled wagyu with yuzu-koshu paste and served alongside some pickled cucumber.
