Tucked away in the heart of Spitalfields Market, Brother Marcus offers a vibrant taste of the Mediterranean for this year’s Christmas party. Founded by three friends back in 2017, the group might be best known for its brunch offerings, but come Winter it pulls out all the stops. Dine amongst the abundant foliage and twinkling lights, whilst tucking into Mediterranean sharing plates. Whether you're looking to gather friends, family or colleagues, Brother Marcus Spitalfields creates the perfect homely atmosphere for a festive together.
There are a couple of different options available when it comes to choosing a space for your celebration. Brother Marcus Spitalfields is available for exclusive hire, accommodating up to 100 guests seated, or 150 standing, and working for every type of Christmas party from a sit down feast, to a drinks and nibbles reception. For smaller groups who are looking to be a part of the atmosphere, then why not hire a table within the restaurant itself? Here, you can book a large table for up to 30 guests, and soak up a bit of that festive cheer.
When it comes to Christmas, menus here are all about sharing. Part of the Brother Marcus ethos is about bringing people together over good food and drinks, and what better time to do that than with a festive celebration? The sharing menu, which is priced at £49 per person, includes a selection of Eastern Mediterranean classics, offering a touch of warmth this winter with toasted za’atar pittas and smoked aubergine baba ghanoush with harissa oil to start.
This comes followed by maple roasted onion squash with pomegranate seeds and a sumac dressing, charred celeriac with dill and lime aioli and smoked pine nuts, and black lime and pomegranate slow roasted lamb with new potatoes and caramelised chestnuts. Finish up your evening with indulgent desserts of chocolate torte and signature pistachio baklava.
