Christmas is all about bringing together your favourite people across a table with good food and wine. So, if you're looking for somewhere that knows how to host generously, try Bricco e Bacco - a premium Sicilian steakhouse with years of history.
Bricco e Bacco is a family affair which started back in the 1930s in Palermo, where the family perfected the art of sourcing and selecting the highest quality cuts of meat for locals as well-respected butchers. Today, the central London-based restaurant continues this tradition, working with farmers across the world to sustainably source the likes of Sashi beef from Finland, Wagyu from Japan, Black Angus from Spain alongside Marango from Italy, and more.
The team love hosting private parties and have two dedicated spaces to do so. The private dining area boasts views of busy Charlotte Street and a central table which can seat up to 16 people. Walls are covered in a rich, terracotta hue with rustic wine bottles decorating shelves for an authentic feel. Here, guests are invited to enjoy a set feasting menu, of which there are many options.
Each one comes in at a different price point and offers a mix of courses which might start with the likes of the savoury beef tart with pomegranate and fennel, alongside chickpea crisps and potato croquettes, followed by A5 Japanese Wagyu bites served with lemon semifreddo and fennel taralli. Mains look like rib steak of Marango from Italy served on a hot Hymalaian rock salt pan with hand cut chips and seasonal veggies.
Imagining something more relaxed? Bricco e Bacco also has a lounge bar and adjoining party room for either 40 people seated or 50 people standing, and comes with its own mixologist. Here, you can either enjoy a full set menu or try some smaller dishes such as deep fried Panzerotto with anchovies, tomato paste and caciocavallo cheese, as well as marinated olives and toasted almond, pistachios and hazelnuts.
