Welcome to Braxted Park, a stunning country house manor not only set in 500 acres of parkland, but also the largest walled private estate in the county. Formerly belonging to the Countess of Pembroke, this unique property is beautiful inside and out, with lakes, gardens and a wealth of wildlife.
The stately house is available to hire for everything from birthday parties to weddings, but come winter, and the team enthusiastically welcome Christmas party bookings. Whether you're organising a festive shindig for your friends and family, or the office gang have elected you to put together the work Christmas party, the team at Braxted Park have helpfully devised an all-out package to make celebrating the best time of year a little easier.
The pavillion is transformed into a glittering backdrop for your evening with a span of rounded tables, each decorated with tablescapes and twinkling fairy lights. On arrival, guests will be greeted with a couple of glasses of fizz, beer or a special Christmas cocktail, followed by a selection of canapes while socialising.
Once seated it's time for a three-course gourmet meal served with half a bottle of wine per person, as well as the option to upgrade to cheese boards and a glass of port for afters. For starters, guests can choose between the likes of spiced Braxted Park Estate cauliflower soup or chicken liver and cognac parfait, followed by mains like oven roasted black feather turkey with all the trimmings, from sage and chestnut stuffing to pigs in blankets. For dessert, the tipsy traditional Christmas pudding sounds delicious, as does the chocolate and orange bavarois.
During dinner, live music adds atmosphere, while afterwards the dance floor will be filled by a top Essex DJ spinning the decks. You can also make memories with friends thanks to the photobooth and enjoy the 'chillaxed' seating for post dinner chats.
