Many Christmas parties are held near the City of London each year, as a hub for businesses and with many professionals excited to celebrate the festive season. Bob Bob Ricard City is located nearby to both Liverpool Street and Bank underground stations, making it easy to reach even if your guests aren’t located closeby.
The restaurant is the perfect choice for Christmas parties, with every table designed to be a booth, by the legendary Shayne Brady, setting a benchmark for 21st century nautical chic. Each table is fitted with a press for Champagne button, that can deliver delicious selections of fizz to your table in just a flash. If you’re looking for more privacy for your guests, consider one of the three private dining rooms, each with space for 18 people, and the two semi-private rooms that overlook the restaurant’s Red Room. If you’re hoping to host a larger Christmas party, consider hiring out the whole restaurant for that extra bit of privacy.
Whilst the festive season will see changes to the menu, including seasonal favourites and classics, there are some dishes you’ll always find on the menu at Bob Bob Ricard in Soho. Begin with a selection of vodka shots that are served at -18 degrees, including Staritsky & Levitsky Private Cellar, that has been filtered through mountain crystal and rested for 90 days. Oscietra caviar, which is full of flavour, always goes down a treat with a glass of fizz, as do the Jersey rock oysters.
To start, try the trio of beetroot salad, served with horseradish and haddock cream, rocket salad and fried capers, or the lobster, scallop and shrimp pelmeni. The truffle and Champagne humble pie is a big hit, made with Bollinger, Jerusalem artichokes, mushrooms, celeriac, baby onions and truffle veloute, under a buttery and flaky puff pastry. Chicken Kievs, a lobster macaroni and cheese and chateaubriand for one also feature on the main menu. Delicious desserts include a flaming creme brulee with Madagascan vanilla.
