The Reid Rooms are based in a charming Grade II listed 15th century farmhouse, originally built as stables for over 200 working horses of Marks Hall Farm. The award-winning venue is located at Margaret Roding, near Chelmsford, in the breath-taking Essex countryside.
The family-owned spaces at the farm are suitable for hosting beautiful ceremonies, receptions, and even festival-style weddings. The venue also offers wedding packages, to make the day run smoother for couples, which includes services such as unlimited drinks, evening DJs, and a wedding co-ordinator.
The Reid Rooms are all about allowing the couples have flexibility with their day, whether you want a more DIY approach to the wedding or for the wedding team to help you create a bespoke plan. You can also choose to supply your own weddings drinks with a free corkage option, to help out on budget and be able to have more control over the selection of booze. Otherwise, drinks packages are available.

The DIY aspect of the venue is great for hands-on couples who want to create the perfect day and put their creative stamp on. The rooms can be used on a venue hire basis, with full flexibility to bring in your own catering companies without any hidden charges.

The Meadow is a unique festival venue which can be kitted out with tipi tents, fairy lights, street food trucks, and more.
