Weddings at Riverdale Barn begin with an enchanting exchange of vows in the stunning Ceremony Barn where candle-filled lanterns light the way as you walk down the aisle and flowers decorate the space. If, in the summer months, you'd rather tie the knot outside, step into the idyllic Spinney, where a country-style structure is licensed for ceremonies.
For your wedding photos, the team will work with you and your photographer to get the perfect shot with a backdrop of gardens, the courtyard and even secret locations to give your captured memories an enchanted woodland feel.
Once it's time to sit down and raise a glass, the main barn space will be configured in your desired set-up and decorated with tablescapes, candles and flowers for maximum atmosphere. Catering is provided in house and personalised menus can be created, always with a focus on fresh, local ingredients.
There are plenty of food and drinks packages to choose from which make planning your special day a little bit easier. For example, why not start off with a welcome drink of fizz as well as some canapes, such as crisp lamb belly with rosemary and garlic, alongside toad in the hole with onion relish, and quail egg. Across the three and four course meal options, expect mains like Burgundy chicken with creamed mash, and salmon fish cake with buttered spinach, as well as desserts like treacle tart and custard or dark chocolate fudge cake with vanilla and cherry compote.
