The Pinewood Hotel is on the outskirts of Slough in Berkshire, an hour’s drive or 30 minute train from Central London. As well as a four star hotel, it is also a wedding venue, set within tranquil rolling green gardens that are rural yet still well connected. The hotel was purpose-built as an events venue, meaning everything needed is already on-site and matched by attentive and caring service.
Pinewood’s five acres of grounds showcase the best of the South Buckinghamshire countryside and make for the perfect backdrop for the big day. The hotel is licensed for civil ceremonies, which primarily take place in the Symak Suite. This can hold up to 120 guests, has a private bar and comes with direct access to the hotel’s gardens, especially useful in the summer as guests can exit the ceremony and head straight into the sunshine. Ceremonies can also be held outdoors. Typically more intimate than their indoor counterparts, these take advantage of the hotel’s serene and lush surroundings, such as in front of the sweeping water feature nestled beneath a series of grand trees.
All weddings are planned alongside a member of Pinewood’s wedding team. They are on hand to answer any and every question, ensuring the big day runs smoothly and to your exact standards. Helping to simplify the process are a series of wedding packages (Rose, Tulip or Orchid), which vary in the volume and types of food and alcohol on offer but all come with a wedding coordinator included.
Wedding breakfasts can be three or four courses depending on whether canapes are included, with dishes such as caprese salad for starters, duck breast with potato gratin for main and white chocolate cheesecake for dessert all on offer. An evening buffet or BBQ are also on offer, ideal for keeping the party going long into the night. As well as the newly married couple, guests can also stay over, further prolonging the fun and avoiding having to arrange transportation home late at night.
