With a perfectly romantic, classic vibe, Chiswick House and Gardens makes the ideal place to celebrate your special day. Given its range of fully flexible spaces, this is a wedding venue that’s happy to tailor its offering to your requirements. Plus, with hire fees that start from just £3000 it offers incredible value for money given its plum west London location.
The main house itself is an 18th century villa that has a colourful past in which parties and lavish soirees have proven central to its life as a place to gather and celebrate with guests. Carrying on the tradition, you can host up to 90 guests for a ceremony, with room for 80 seated diners come your wedding breakfast. Even within the confines of one house there are all kinds of rooms to choose from – two of our favourites are the ornate Galleries and the domed saloon with its stunning natural light.
Set within the Italian Gardens, The Conservatory strikes the perfect balance between indoors and outdoors (ideal for our Great British weather). If you say ‘I do’ here, you’ll be surrounded by the colour and movement of plants like roses and wisteria which also happily make pretty backdrops for photographs. This 19th century glass house has space for 100 people for a ceremony, or alternatively you can host drinks and canapes here for up to 150 guests.
The largest of Chiswick House and Garden’s wedding spaces is the Garden Pavilion, a grand semi-permanent marquee that acts as the ideal blank canvas space for you to really put your own stamp on. Here you can enjoy the company of up 220 people with flexible setups for both dinner and dancing.
The helpful in-house team are experts in their field and throughout your wedding planning process they’re on hand to help with all the details of your day, as well as being able to advise on external suppliers like florists and cake-makers.
