Situated amongst the South Bank, Tate Modern and National Theatre, the state-of-the-art Sea Containers building finds itself in the heart of entertainment and culture. At the top of this building, you will find six event spaces across three floors, with private terraces overlooking the Thames and London skyline.
Sea Containers offers a host of different spaces to accommodate every possible type of event or party. Level 12, for example, is a blank canvas venue of variable size up to four rooms combined, perfect for parties, receptions, meetings and dinners.
The Cucumber boasts floor to ceiling windows and a stylish curved green bar that gave the room its name and can host 100 seated at round tables or 200 standing. This room is ideally suited to receptions, lunches and dinners. The Wren, on the other hand, is better suited to smaller events, such as private dinners or meetings and offers incredible views of St Paul’s and a private outdoor terrace. On the opposite side, Sunset is the perfect place to watch the sun slip into the Thames with views of the London Eye and OXO Tower.
For, say, a product launch, The Amphitheatre is the perfect venue. Spread across two floors, this airy room has space for 200, an HD projector, Tannoy ceiling speakers, wireless roving and lapel microphones and a touch screen lighting rig.
Travelling further up, the 14th floor Roof Terrace is truly something to behold. Offering 360 views of the London skyline and a standing capacity of 225, this space even comes with an appropriate indoor room just in case it rains. If you are planning a true extravaganza, you can book the 13th floor in its entirety. This includes Cucumber, Sunset and The Wren, and the Roof Terrace on the 14th floor, for a total standing capacity of 600.
Award-winning caterers Green & Fortune provide food and drink to match the stunning setting. From canapes to custom cocktails, the dedicated team of chefs and mixologists will craft the perfect contemporary menu to accompany your event. To contact the venue, simply fill in the form on the right.
