Aqua Shard is the best of British. Hosted in one of the most iconic buildings in the UK, if not the world, this contemporary restaurant and bar serves up quintessential British cuisine with breathtaking views. Get ready to party hard with a panoramic perspective over London in the height of the festive season.
Eating here isn't cheap, but you'll be rewarded with some of the finest food the UK capital has to offer. The menu champions British produce first and foremost, with meats and cheese sourced from locations such as Cornwall, Glastonbury and north-eastern Scotland.
The stunning surroundings mean that no price is too high for this opportunity. Aqua Shard is proud to display one of the most iconic Christmas trees London has to offer. Originally launched in 2020 in support of the Theatre Support Fund, this showstopping tree is made up of 800 paintbrushes, all lit and delicately hung. You won't find your typical star or angel on top of this tree; instead it's a silhouette of Tinker Bell, paying homage to Aqua Shard's highly acclaimed Peter Pan afternoon tea.
In 2021, Aqua Shard introduced their accompanying Christmas dessert and cocktail menu, of which 50% of net sales are donated to the Theatre Support Fund. The bespoke cocktail, called 'Centre Stage' is a waming blend of mulled gin, caramel and fermented apples with chocolate bitters and Veuve Clicquot Yellow label. Dessert flows, an edible Christmas bauble of preserved fruit parfait with hazelnut custard and an edible paintbrush as a tasteful nod to the tree.
For larger festive gatherings, Aqua Shard can be combined with sister restaurant Hutong on floor 33 to create an event suitable for up to a whopping 700 party-goers. Name a more iconic duo.
