You may recognise Blenheim Palace as the hereditary residence of the Dukes of Marlborough, and it is currently the home to the 12th Duke and Duchess, along with their family. Sir WInston Churchill himself was born at the palace in 1874, and lived in these very rooms.
In 2023, the team at Blenheim Palace embarked on an innovative conservation endeavour to reinstate the roof of the orangery and restore the beauty of this Grade I listed building. Restored to its former glory, the orangery embraces the bar area, along with existing access to the adjoining terrace that overlooks the Italian Gardens for a pre-dinner drinks reception. This is just one evidentiary part of the palace’s commitments to heritage.
