Worton Hall is a charming, multi-use events venue with an ideal location, just a 15 minute drive from Oxford. Whether you're organising a wedding, birthday party or even a corporate event, guests coming from across the country will have easy access to motorways and public transport.
The main building was originally a historic grain store which has been carefully restored and updated, making it a contemporary space with capacity for up to 180 for seated dinners, cocktail receptions for 280, and meetings and conferences for up to 250 people.
There are three spaces which create Worton Hall. These include The Main Hall, Hayloft Gallery and Cresswell Bar and can be used separately or together, with adjoining entrances and an open plan feel. Thanks to the 2014 remodel, the spaces are blank canvases which you can decorate however you like - transforming them for a theme, or even creating break out spaces for meetings. Alternatively, for a smaller, more relaxed corporate meeting, consider the Farmhouse Boardroom based within The Farmhouse.
A catering kitchen can be yours if required (so feel free to bring in your own caterers and serve whatever food suits your event best), and the private bar is just for you and your guests to enjoy. In addition to this, expect plenty of space for a dance floor come the evening, with a stage for live music, a star cloth backdrop, customisable LED lighting and in-built wireless sound system.
What's brilliant about this venue is that alongside a selection of events spaces for the main event, there's plenty of options for those staying over, too. This way, guests don't need to worry about getting home after a night of partying and if you want to make it a weekend affair, then that's easily done. There are seven self-catering holiday lets, two of which are located on site, including our largest house which sleeps 22.
