WAVE

WAVE is a vegan cafe based on Mare Street in Hackney Central, one of the boroughs main food hubs. It was opened by two best friends who both have a passion for plant based cuisine, minimalist homeware and a sunshine lifestyle - which is all prominent here. It’s been designed as a space to retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life, where you can feel as if you’re on holiday with your feet up, and it brings delicious, simple and nutritious food that’s loved by vegans and meat eaters alike.
On the food menu you’ll find a variety of healthy and slightly more indulgent options to see you through from the morning to the early evening. Expect small plates such as the tun’ah mayo focaccia, vegan sausage rolls and breakfast brioche with roasted tomatoes, tofu mayo and watercress. Mains sees options like mac n cheese (but a vegan alternative to the popular dish), with broccoli, tomatoes and plenty of crispy onions, as well as brekkie bowls with scrambled tofu, hummus and sauteed kale, or an avo on toast that does what it says on the tin. For dessert, think raspberry pancakes with cashew ice cream, pain au chocolat and peanut butter cookies. If you’re after a space to hire, it is available on hourly, half day, and full day hire options that can hold up to 45 guests outside and up to 40 guests inside. Whether you’re after a wedding, a party or an intimate supperclub, there’s a space for everyone.
WAVE also provides private catering options where you can choose from a selection off the main menu, with a minimum of 5 working days notice.
