TT is home to a restaurant and rooftop bar, both serving the very best of seasonal food, with a focus on fresh produce and wood-fired cooking. This London venue also has a liquor store, cellar bar and independent cinema within its bounds, so you're in for a real treat when visiting TT. The restaurant and rooftop bar are open every day except Monday, and serve coffee from 8am. Spread across two floors, you will be able to enjoy a cosy spot indoors on colder days, or a relaxing few hours in the sun when on the rooftop. The head chef at TT is Sam Lone. Lone champions outdoor inspired cooking and has a passion for creating delicious sharing plates that are cooked on coals, smoked and pickled.
The menus rotate on a seasonal basis, but you can always expect to find a superb selection of small plates at TT. First up are the breads, hummus and house pickled with spicy giardiniera. If you enjoy meaty dishes, try the salami and saucisson that is Cobble Lane cured, or the smoked ox cheek croquettes with smoky chilli crema. Other small plates include the burnt aubergine with brown butter yoghurt, pomegranate and almond, along with grilled cauliflower paired with ricotta and pumpkin seed pesto.
There are bigger plates to choose from, such as the chargrilled dry aged ribeye with hickory smoked ajvar, the lamb kofta with green tahini and sumac onions, and grilled fish of the day paired with butter beans and sundried tomatoes. You’ll want to finish things off with a dessert of tequila baba served with British strawberries and sweet labneh, or the pecan pie ice cream that is made fresh in house.
