The passion behind Truffle Burger lies in creating the ultimate fine diner. Here, customers are immersed in a place where the legendary mushroom – truffle, can be enjoyed in unique ways, but also through simplicity. Although now across the city, Truffle Burger began on the streets of Hackney back in 2018, and remains an independently owned restaurant today. Truffle is accessible at Truffle Burger, and so you can enjoy this rich and delicious ingredient around friends and family. The team have roots in street food, and are proud to bring dishes that are inspired by foods from around the world to a space that is suitable for any time of the day. The team never compromise on quality, despite being affordable. Take the burgers — here, the meats are 90 day aged rare breed British beef with melted raclette cheese, homemade fig jam, black truffle mayonnaise and handmade demi brioche buns. So whilst you're getting a good slap up meal, its nothing short of luxury.
The classic cheeseburger comes with house sauce, American cheese, sliced onions, pickles and lettuce, whilst the chicken option comes with twice coated buttermilk chicken thighs, a truffle and parmesan glaze, white slaw, homemade pickles and a spicy sauce. There are signature burgers, too, including the truffle honey chicken burger which comes with bacon ketchup, truffle honey and whipped goats cheese. You can also get a veggie truffle burger, and a few more options, with double up options if you're feeling hungry. On the side, enjoy the truffle and parmesan fries, or deep fried brie wedges with truffle honey drizzled over the top.
To wash everything down the drinks list is simple but has everything you need. Choose from Dalston Sodas, beers from Hackney Brewery and simple cocktails like an amaretto and cherryade pairing and a classic gin and tonic.
