About
The bustling Trinity Leeds shopping centre provides a home for five new street-food vans every six weeks, which trade alongside a selection of permanent outlets. It’s a no-frills self-service operation where diners park themselves on colourful communal seating to devour their choice of cuisine. Duck & Roll, a permanent fixture from the team behind Michelin-starred London restaurant Club Gascon, is a celebration of all things duck, with a menu including shawarma, burgers and hand-cut fries fried in duck fat. We relished a wrap bursting with crispy duck, spring onions, shredded crunchy vegetables and hoisin sauce. Other regulars include Chicago Rib Shack, 360 Champagne & Cocktails, and Tortilla, the latter offering a Californian-Mexican menu of quesadillas, burritos and tacos. Among the rotating traders have been Diamond Dogs (homemade hot dogs), Chai & Chaat by Zouk (Pakistani and Indian food), and The Hip Hop Chip Shop. Expect to queue during peak times.
