The Walled Garden at Barton Manor occupies the site of the original Barton Grange kitchen. Dining is relaxed and welcoming, with the option to sit in the conservatory or the old wash house. There is also a summer house if you’re looking for semi-private dining at The Walled Garden, and an outdoor seating area if you’re lucky with the weather.
The menu is largely designed around local, seasonal produce, serving lunch, dinner and afternoon tea. You will also find a selection of chef’s daily specials.
The afternoon tea menu is made using the best local produce, including freshly made sandwiches, warm fruit scones, strawberry jam and clotted cream. You will also find a selection of traditional cakes, cream fancies and chocolates on the menu. Your afternoon tea can be served with loose leaf tea or filter coffee. There is also a savoury afternoon tea option, which includes a mini pork pie, a mini hot special of the day, sandwiches, scones and a mini burger. There is also the option to enjoy your afternoon tea served with a chilled glass of prosecco.
Main dishes include a selection of good quality meat and fish dishes. Lighter options are available for lunch and include freshly made sandwiches, toasted sandwiches and salads.
The Walled Garden has both indoor and outdoor seating to enjoy and beautiful views of the garden. There is also a good selection of wines and beers, as well as soft drinks, tea and coffee.
