The Surrey Cricketers

We weren't greeted with a smile and asking for my booking I felt like I was an inconvenience, the waitress looked moody to bee there. It was so noisy we couldn't enjoy our evening stuck in the middle of dining 2, when asked to be moved as I have a hearing impairment it was a flat 'no' from the waiter without speaking to any colleagues or manager. 

I would have left but we were meeting family, my party was there for an hour, we ate and left and I spent the evening lip reading and exhausted, not the relax meal we were hoping for. 

I havent been to The  Surrey Cricketers for a while. I had lunch with a a friend we chose the Ploughmans sharing platter, I must admit we was a little dissapointed . The portions really werent for sharing. Half the platter was fine but a little stingy on the cheese not really enough to enjoy the tasty chutney, salad dressing half a cherry tomato each, sprinkling of rocket (6 or 7 stems). I usually have one of their tasty pizzas., my recommened choice next time.  Service was good and attentive, perhaps just a bad day it was very hot.
