The Sun Inn is located just off the High Street in Chobham, it is a welcoming family pub and brasserie serving an a la carte menu and Sunday lunch. The décor is tasteful and traditional, with a bar area and a pretty outdoor seating space which is lined with bunting and festoon lights. The Sun Inn has a French and British inspired menu, serving plenty of classic favourites, presented with their own unique White Brasserie twist. Perhaps you will choose to kick things off with an aperitif and some nibbles, whilst you peruse at the starters. Appetisers include dishes such as chicken liver parfait served with onion marmalade and toasted brioche, and the very popular cheese souffle which is served with Wyke Cheddar sauce.
Main courses include a good selection of 30-day matured steaks and of course, popular dishes like steak frites and chateaubriand. You will also find a number of lighter fish and chicken dishes, and vegetarian options available. Fish dishes include Loch Fyne salmon fillet served with a tomato hollandaise, and grilled squid salad served with chilli and lime.
The dessert menu features classics such as sticky toffee pudding and poached rhubarb crumble. Those with a sweet tooth will not be disappointed as there are plenty of tempting ice cream flavours to choose from including coconut, strawberry and salted caramel.
The Sunday roast menu sounds equally as tempting, especially the roast Cornish beef served with Yorkshire pudding, cauliflower cheese, seasonal veg and bottomless rich gravy.
If you looking to enjoy drinks or to dine outside, there is a pretty seating area which is largely covered. The drinks menu is large and varied with plenty of good quality wines, beers and spirits. There is also a cocktail menu, plus fresh coffee, tea and juices.
