I have no idea how the food is, as the terrible service kept me from trying it. Apparently, you need to book a day ahead for tea, which is fine, but the website does not say this(just says reservations are needed) and the reservation system will allow you to make reservations on the day of. This means I arrived with my family, confirmation # in hand, got scolded for booking so late and turned away. They claimed they tried to call our US mobile phone—they might have, but I show no record, and no email either. They probably didn't try very hard to figure our how to dial the number correctly, as the host thought the number looked odd and was probably “made up.” Even if you link to another company for reservations, it is your responsibility to manage it! It is a beautiful place.
