The Salad Kitchen is based on the premise of serving those with good taste the most indulgent, built to order bowls that have been roasted, fermented and marinated in house. You won't find better quality than this! This Avery Row based Mayfair location is open Monday through to Friday, and proudly serves office workers, hungry students and passers by who just can't wait to get their next salad fill.
The menu changes seasonally or yearly, depending on what’s best available. Some food choices come in mini, regular and large. First, you choose your base. The crunchbox is a medley of the day's six signature salads, including grains, pulses, roasties, pickle, slaw and leaves. The poke bowl is made with seasoned sushi rice, marinated edamame beans, wakame, gari, pickle and slaw. You then choose your protein and toppers, including goat's cheese, halloumi or tempeh, with the option to add kimchi, pulled chicken or gyozas.
For your dressings, you can choose from teriyaki mayo and lemon pesto, and sprinkle chilli flakes or crispy shallots on top. Some of the bar's favourites include the protein paradise, made with a whopping 64g of protein. This option is made up of a crunchbox base with extra pulse, two and a half portions of pulled chicken, smoked chilli mayo, honey mustard and toasted seeds. There are platters to choose from, too, and you can choose to serve three, six or twelve people. The wrap platter is a mix of the most popular house salads that are served burrito style, and you can specify if you'd like meat, vegetarian, vegan or mixed options. The chip and dip platter is a great take on nachos, with rosemary and thyme and sundried tomato and basil baked pitta chips that are served with the signature house made houmous.
