A useful boozer, easy to spot from the road but awkward to get to by anything other than foot, The Roundhouse has developed a singular character & a strong relationship with the community. This
is a drinkers’ pub, where there’s a generous selection of beers & ales (including local Sambrook’s Wandle) on tap & in bottle, plus a fair choice of wines to boot. Nevertheless, the food is
also worthy of mention. The menu changes every day, but expect decent pub standards; steaks & burgers reign supreme. Although the main bar of this classic Victorian hostelry can get ‘very
noisy’ of a Friday or Saturday night, there’s always the ‘lovely’ beer garden to escape to. Other bonuses include the staff’s friendliness to families & dog owners.
