At first glance, this looks like just another lovingly maintained – if slightly ramshackle – pub on the edge of Chiswick; its mismatched tables, well-stocked bar & charming service provide a
familiar & welcoming backdrop for some decent food & drink. But have a wander, & you'll discover that The Raven opens out into some curious extra spaces: turn a corner & the bare
walls, wooden furniture, abstract art & randomly placed design quirks suggest underground hipster enclave rather than traditional boozer. The food is also more daring than you might expect:
Cheddar & vegetable crêpes, monkfish & salmon fishcakes with tartare sauce, confit of duck with dauphinois potatoes, & lemon posset with fresh blackberries could have you gorging until
you're compelled to croak ‘nevermore’. A wide range of cask ales, imported beers & wines completes the picture.
