We have often been in the past & much liked it.
But on our last visit but one the food took a very long time to be served - though this mattered less as we were not in a hurry. Last Sunday, though, we had less time (as a result of developments since we booked). For our meal we each ordered 2 starters, but after some 75 minutes we had received only one & had to go. The staff were duly apologetic & put our second starters into a bag for us to take away.
We did, too, think the cooking less good than in time past.
We shall probably wait a bit & then give the Plough one more try, hoping for a return to past form.
