On the main menu, you'll find breaded or beer battered fillet of haddock with chips, mushy peas and tartare sauce, a Balmoral chicken breast stuffed with haggis and wrapped in bacon with a deliciously punchy whisky sauce, a Scottish beef burger with all the trimmings and sausages with mashed potatoes and onion gravy.

There's also a lunch menu that includes Scottish chicken tikka skewers, breaded mushrooms with a garlic dip and haggis filo parcels with sweet chilli dipping sauce. Sundays see the offering of a three slow cooked meat consomme made with homemade noodles.

Had a lovely relaxing lunch with a friend.  Chose from the Polish menu and thoroughly enjoyed.  Be pepared, very generous portions but great food and good selection of beers and lagers at reasonable prices compared to other pubs in the area.  Well looked after by staff, nice atmosphere and good value for money. Would certainly recommend and will go again.

A Lovely Place for A Pals' Catch-Up!

Had a lovely lunch here - so reasonably-priced - with 2 friends, absolutely delicious food, great atmosphere and felt totally Covid-safe throughout our visit.

Definitely intend to return- the staff are so lovely (really appreciated the wee biscuit with our hot drinks!) and so many things on the menu that still need to be sampled!
