The Pen and Pencil is a modern and inviting American inspired restaurant and cocktail bar. The Pen and Pencil is located on 57 Hilton Street, Greater Manchester, and is open daily from 10am until late. The interior is spacious and contemporary, with a large bar area and plenty of seating. You can visit The Pen and Pencil daily for brunch, lunch and dinner. You can also visit for drinks, nibbles and cocktails.
There is a main food menu and a bottomless brunch menu available. The main food menu features a number of crowd pleasing and popular dishes such as a chicken supreme served with gratin potatoes and roasted cherry tomatoes, plus a marinated flat iron steak served with parmesan, rocket and garlic roast potatoes. There is one vegetarian option on the main menu, this is the halloumi burger which is served with smoked paprika aioli, however there are multiple vegetarian options on the brunch menu which is available from 10am until 4pm.
You will also find fish dishes on the menu, such as salmon and hake with mussels, plus a range of burgers and sandwiches if you’re looking for something for lunch. Burgers include the buttermilk chicken burger and the P&P classic beef burger served with cheese, bacon and chipotle mayo.
Other light bites include topped nachos, chicken wings and spinach and feta rolls. Sides include all the favourites including sweet potato fries, mac and cheese, and garlic rosemary potatoes.
If you’re looking for breakfast and brunch the menu features dishes such as avocado and poached eggs on toast, steak & eggs, and American pancakes served with maple syrup or fruit compote. For £40.00 per head, you can choose a bottomless brunch, or if you’re looking for something a little simpler there is plenty of fresh tea and coffee, plus smoothies and fruit juice.
