For a light bite to start your meal, try the Orchard’s soup of the day with crusty bread and butter, THE Cockburn’s of Dingwall award winning haggis fritters with tomato chilli glaze and balsamic, or the black pudding and blue cheese salad with crispy bacon, sundried tomato and rocket. There are also starters of baba ghanoush, garlic and chilli butter prawns and cold smoked salmon. The Orchard’s rustic sandwiches include fillings of flat iron steak, peri chicken and yoghurt coleslaw along with brie and bacon.
The mains include a twice baked goat’s cheese souffle with oven roasted cherry tomatoes, fresh hand cut haddock with red rooster potato chips, and The Orchard’s legendary steak pie with a puff pastry bonnet, green beans and hand cut chips. Veggies will love the roasted butternut squash risotto with a salad of orzo, heritage tomatoes, crispy kale, charred tenderstem broccoli and chimichurri dressing. On Sundays, roasts are served with options of sirloin of Scotch beef, lamb or chicken supreme, each served with a Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes, beetroot, broccoli, carrots and red wine gravy.
The kids menu has plenty of lovely dishes for your little ones to choose from, including a cheesy pasta, option of sliced chicken breast – battered or pan-fried, and a selection of juices and soft drinks to choose from. The whole family will have a great time!
