About

The North Laine Brewhouse in Brighton takes its name from the nearby area of winding streets, bustling cafes, vintage stores and bohemian street markets. One of the most exciting spots to be in the city, it bodes well to be associated with this creative place. With eclectic interiors, a staunch local following and a buzzing events programme, it seems the North Laine Brewhouse lives up to its name. One aspect that this venue is most proud of is its in-house brewery which enables the team to experiment with unique brews and change the menu regularly. There’s even a brew experience and guided tour that you can book to get a closer look.

Every Wednesday the pub hosts an interactive quiz alongside all-you-can-eat wings, while on Friday and Saturday nights resident DJs take over the decks to fill the venue with a mix of funk, disco, RnB and noughties classics. If you’ve got your own event in mind you can also hire different areas within the pub and put on your own soiree. The Wiff Waff area is perfect for a birthday party or work night out with a capacity of 150 standing and 100 seated, with ping pong tables, a projector and sound system to put on your own music. Otherwise, the bar area is an open space, next to the working brewery, that feels sociable and relaxed. Here, 150 of your friends can enjoy a drink standing, or 70 seated.

As for food, the menu follows a smoke-house and grill concept, serving up an assortment of burgers such as the El Paso with a beef patty, cheddar cheese, salsa, guacamole and jalapenos on a brioche bun, or the Smokey Hog which layers up a beef patty, BBQ pulled pork, cheddar cheese and garlic. Sides include loaded fries with garlic mayo and crispy onions, loaded nachos with sour cream and salsa and halloumi fries.
