A family run bar and restaurant, The Mulberry has been open for over 10 years and serves Farnham's guests well with great food, live music, sport, and pool tables to keep you busy in between courses. Here, you'll find the biggest beer garden in Farnham that has an outside DJ booth, a covered and heated terrace, outside kitchen, TV screen and kids play area. If you're looking for good pub grub, you can hunker down in front of one of The Mulberry's cosy fires and enjoy a classic British meal.
Order some marinated olives for the table, and share a platter of nachos topped with sour cream, guacamole, salsa, jalapeños, melted cheese and chilli con carne. To start your main meal, you'll get to try crispy fried whitebait with lemon mayo, camembert wedges with a chilli jam and a tarragon and mustard scotch egg with piccalilli. We love the selection of mains, which include plenty of classics next to a few innovative dishes. There's beer battered fish with fat chips, peas and tartare sauce, along with Lincolnshire bangers and mustard mash with gravy and crispy onions, but there's also a steak and stilton pie made with squash, spinach and feta, and plant burger filled with smoked vegan cheese, mixed leaves, tomato, red onion, jalapeños and chipotle vegan mayo.
If you've got children with you, they can tuck into beef burgers, panko crumbed chicken tenders and a smaller portion of fish and chips. On the side, there's factory fries, beef chilli-cheese fries and mozzarella garlic bread. Last but not least, a variety of desserts – including a sticky toffee pudding with vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce, a chocolate brownie, and several flavours of ice cream.
