The Bush is a historic, independently-run hotel with a restaurant that has been serving guests since 1618. Enriched with a deep-rooted history, yet keeping things fresh in design, The Bush pairs the charm of yesteryears with the comforts of today. Found in the heart of Farnham's historic town centre, The Bush offers a warm and inviting sanctuary amidst its own private gardens, providing an escape from the bustling energy of Farnham's lively high street. Family owned, The Bush prides itself on its friendly atmosphere and commitment to ensuring a pleasant stay for all guests. The Bush is conveniently positioned with direct train links to London, accessible cycling and walking paths leading to the beautiful Surrey Hills.

The Yard serves up a diverse and ever-changing menu, complemented by the various charming spaces throughout the hotel where you can enjoy a refreshing drink, a quick snack, a whole meal or even afternoon tea. During the winter season, cosy fires will warm your visit, meanwhile the garden terrace and gardens are the perfect spots to bask in the summer sun. For early risers and private gatherings, the garden restaurant welcomes you for breakfasts and exclusive lunches and events. 

The breakfast menu contains a selection of items from the bakery, including all butter croissants and loaf bakery bread, a continental selection that includes kiwi and lime juice and fresh fruit salad, as well as hot plates from the kitchen. Choose from a traditional full English breakfast, pancakes with back bacon and maple syrup, and an avocado and pumpkin seed topped eggs dish. When it comes to your meal, perhaps you'll enjoy a selection of light bites which are available until 5pm Monday through to Saturday, as well as larger plates of beer battered fish and chips and The Bush cottage pie. Sunday roasts hit the menu on weekends, inviting diners to delve into beef, chicken and pork with all the trimmings. Or why not try The Bush afternoon tea, which comes with a selection of finger sandwiches, scones and cakes paired with tea, coffee or the chance to upgrade to include fizz.
