The Manor is a cocktail bar and restaurant in central Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. Its stylish interior creates a sense of luxury, while the rooftop bar is the perfect place to enjoy a range of signature cocktails. This is sizable and can be used year-round thanks to a range of heaters throughout, including fire pits at most tables and sheltered areas for a few intimate drinks. It also claims to be the first rooftop bar in Aylesbury.
Food is primarily served in the restaurant area, a grand dining space that acts the perfect house for a range of refined modern classic dishes. Starters include halloumi fires, chorizo bites, pork crackling, and brie bites. The selection of mains is diverse, ranging from a Cajun chicken burger to pork belly skewers to prawn and chorizo linguine. Pizzas are also on offer, perfect for enjoying alongside some drinks on the roof terrace. Toppings for these take three forms: margherita, mediterranean, and meat feast.
The Manor also offers bottomless brunch. This is hosted in either the main restaurant or on the roof terrace, a particularly good destination for the warmer months. The brunch platters are designed for two to share. The Manor Brunch Platter features hummus, olives, avocados, fried egg with chorizo, mushroom, tomato, sausages, beans, berry pancakes, eggs royale, and toast. There’s also a vegan platter. This is similar but has the meat products substituted for vegan sausages or BBQ Oumph filled bao buns. Non-sharing brunch food takes the former of a burger (also available vegan) and individual brunch meals. Bottomless drinks can be either bubbles, beer or cocktails.
On Sundays a roast is served. This menu comes with a unique set of starters, including soup of the day and baked Camembert with crispy sourdough. All roasts are served with roast potatoes, root vegetables, cauliflower cheese, and seasonal greens. The meat options are beef, sausage meat or pork belly, and for vegetarians there’s a stuffed aubergine topped with vegan cheddar.
