Amazing food, and even better service. I don't say this lightly, but best restaurant in Inverness. Staff very friendly and attentive, food was presented and cooked perfectly. Great value for money.

Went out of the way to provide an item not on the menu for my Wife and it was excellent 

Always a good bet for a scenic venue and attentive staff. Good choice and cooking.

For what we ate as in two starters each it was very expensive. I saw main meals delivered to other tables and was shocked at the portion size and price on the menu for what you received. I'd never pay £20 plus for aubergine. 

Sadly although the venue is well situated, staff friendly and atmosphere good, the food was not. Never have I been so underwhelmed for paying so much. Portion size was the meanest I have encountered ever. My main course cod was literally the size of my thumb, the sauce cold and not seasoned and the fish itself, mushy, you would be far better placed going to the chippy round the corner where you would have gotten a portion 6 times larger and half the price. This is not a case of less is more! I never like to be negative and this is the first damning review I have ever written but as a chef of 22 years myself I can not stress more that this was a deeply dissappointing dining experience. It simply was not value for money. I was mony down the drain.
