The Ingham Swan is a Michelin Recommended Restaurant found in North East Norfolk, just a few moments away from the coastline. Near to where he grew up, it’s owner Daniel’s reason for his passion in the finest, freshest cuisine.
The heritage building is beautiful, and feels like a true, authentic countryside inn. The team are dedicated to seasonality, showcasing a dynamic menu that evolves daily across lunch, dinner du jour, a la carte, taster and Sunday lunch. Be sure to try some of the Ingham Swan favourites, along with the unique creations, and influences from Daniel’s experiences on BBC2’s Great British Menu and in prestigious London kitchens.
The menu includes delicious starters like satueed locally foraged girolle mushrooms, confit egg yolk and aged Parmesan with olive crumb. There are also rich dishes of pan fried pigeon breast with puy lentils, pickled blackberries, shallot crumb and jus. When it comes to mains, try the shwarma roast cauliflower with baby spinach, apple and fennel salad, beetroot polenta, celeriac, roast Romanesco and toasted nut crumb. Or, perhaps you’ll enjoy the pan roast Gressingham duck with butternut squash, beetroot, satueed wild mushrooms, saffron cocotte potatoes, roasted purple cauliflower and charred spring onion. Round off a great meal with a dessert of dark chocolate fondant, butternut squash ribbons, spiced squash puree, burnt white chocolate snow and Italian meringue.
On Sundays, enjoy a decadent roast dinner. Start off with Cromer crab and comte fishcakes served with tomato salsa and a rocket and fennel salad. Before indulging in a roast of fillet of British beef with roasted potatoes and carrots, Savoy cabbage, a Yorkshire pudding and red wine jus.
