Despite its pubby exterior, the Hamilton Arms is a Thai restaurant of note – one of the first to open in West Sussex. It’s run with passion by Thai-born Mudita, who cooks real Thai food with some of the profits going to a charity benefiting the victims of child prostitution in Thailand. Customers are encouraged to eat a little of many dishes rather than piling up the plate English style. Expect the likes of roast duck with spicy coconut curry sauce, prawns stir-fried with hot basil leaves & baby aubergine & crispy noodles with shrimp & steamed rice, all of which hit the spot. The wine list holds no surprises, but the welcome & service delights.
