A proper cosy pub for the Bethnal Green locals, The Florist Arms is a typical street-corner boozer frequented by all & sundry, who come here to lounge on battered leather sofas or prop up the bar
with pints of decent draught ale or lager (Brewer’s Gold from Essex or London-brewed Camden Hells). There are also plenty of continental names by the bottle, as well as some creditable wines &
the odd trendy cocktail or two (a sloe & elderflower bramble, for example). Food is pretty basic stuff (pizzas have been mentioned), & the place puts on its glad rags with live music &
DJs at the weekends; quizzes on Mondays, too.
