About

The Fisher's Pond can be found on, you guessed it, the pond's edge. Tranquil and serene, the restaurant was originally envisioned as part of the garden city concept; the building was declared a green belt in 1937, effectively halting any subsequent expansion.

Once known as Fisher's Cafe, a quaint tea room, the building underwent a transformation, evolving into the now known cherished Fisher's Pond Waterside Pub and Dining Room that it is today. Inviting guests in with open arms, The Fishers Pond envelops its visitors in a snug ambience, views of the water and rustic wooden columns, with the inviting glow of a crackling hearth. This warm and hospitable restaurant perfectly complements the restaurant’s array of pub-style dishes, each one evoking the heart and heritage of British culinary traditions. Start your dining journey with delectable starters, such as the fruity duck and orange parfait and creamy, garlic oven-baked mushrooms in a cheesy Cheddar sauce, on toasted sourdough, or chargrilled lamb koftas with baba ganoush, tzatziki, beetroot and a tortilla. As you transition to the main course, an array of scrumptious choices call out. Opt for the oven-baked chicken breast on a bed of spinach, topped with a wild mushroom and garlic sauce, beer-battered cod with triple-cooked chips, mushy peas and tartare sauce, or slow-cooked pork belly with chive mash, green beans, apple sorbet, crackling, and a red wine jus. If you want to add some sides onto your main, why not try out the Belgian fries - triple- cooked chips with garlic mayo & Cajun spices. T

he bar at The Fishers Pond stands proudly stocked, boasting a spectrum of locally crafted hand-pulled ales and ciders, alongside the inviting notes of meticulously crafted cocktails - Cuban Mai Tai, Passion Fruit Martini and Long Island Iced Tea. Change up your lemonade, soda or cocktail with a dash of Mathieu Teisseire syrup, available in elderflower, raspberry, passion fruit or strawberry.
