This venerable hotel now has another reason to visit; Dominic Chapman has taken over the restaurant. Chapman has an impressive CV (he was trained at The Fat Duck) and his style of Modern British cooking is very beguiling. Expect fresh, seasonal ingredients carefully cooked and beautifully presented. His training includes high-end gastronomy but his passion tends towards the more straightforward, so look for a happy medium on the menu. Just the thing to revive oneself after a after a hard day wandering around local Blenheim Place, or shopping mecca Bicester Village.
