About

The Exhibit is a unique kind of venue that caters to all your desires, as a vibrant space where you can enjoy all day brunches, delicious cocktails, great food, and plenty of entertainment. From indulgent bottomless brunches to dinners with free flowing bubbles, as well as plenty of happy hours and late night soirees, Exhibit will easily become your go-to destination in Balham. With a late night licence and live DJs every Friday and Saturday, you'll find yourself dancing until dawn over The Exhibit’s three floors, with private rooms and ample outdoor areas.

The boutique cinema and Lucky Voice karaoke suite add an extra layer of entertainment, ensuring there's never a dull moment (like there could be with your gang). There are always plenty of events to enjoy at The Exhibit, from stand up comedy, pub quizzes, creative life drawing sessions, open mic poetry nights, wild DJ sets, cinematic screenings, and much more. The Exhibit is much more than your run-of-the-mill cocktail bar.

Daytime bottomless brunch begins with fried chicken and waffles with pickled red cabbage, a fried egg and hot honey, along with a short rib eggs Benedict with nduja hollandaise – all with 90 minutes of bottomless fizz, beers or cocktails. In the evening, enjoy small bites of cauliflower bao buns with buffalo hot sauce, carrot, avocado, spring onion and sesame, some truffled pumpkin arancini with sage and truffle mayo, and mac and cheese bites with hot honey. Sharer dishes don't have to be shared, and include buffalo wings, short rib bao buns, crispy squid, mac and cheese and peri peri fries.

Those looking for a full meal can enjoy the spicy prawn roll in a brioche bun with guacamole, Mary Rose sauce and crispy onions, or the grilled jerk chicken thighs with rice and peas, red cabbage and bok choy.

Local Gem!
Live in Balham/Streatham so i've been in for drinks a few times but finally tried the diner on their Friday beer and burger deal, £8 – really good! No catches to the offer, any burger off the menu you like, although only one beer option with the deal but it was still good! Haven't tried the cinema but the, very friendly, staff said they sell out most nights.

What a combo!
Dinner and movie for 15 pounds! Bargain, nice diner and good menu. Staff are seemed all really sound and nice. The cinema it's self is a gem! Big comfy couches and only room for 30 odd people AND NO (!) trailers! Nice big bar downstairs too for a post pictures drink. So close to the tube as well no need to panic over last train home either.

Expensive burger bar ....
Great for a drink or a film but what used to be a great restaurant (even though it overlooks Sainsbury's car park) has now become an overpriced burger bar. There's a Mucky D's around the corner if you want to save your cash!

Avoid At All Costs
OMG! I went for all you can eat BBQ chicken wings and fries on Wednesday night with 5 friends. Please do not waste your time or money in this place. We arrived at 7:30pm and ordered the wings and fries. You get small 5 chicken wings (so they didn't last long) and cone of fries. We ate them and ordered a second round…45 minutes later we were still waiting. To cut a long story short we were there from 7:30pm until 10pm and we only had 3 small portions of wings and 1 portion of fries. When i asked why there was a 45 minute wait between orders the waitress was rude and condescending. I would only wish this place on my worst enemy. Avoid at all costs.
