Set in Earlsfield station’s one-time booking hall, this multi-faceted multi-space venue is just the ticket for local punters – imagine a sports bar, gastropub, hipster hangout, steakhouse and occasional live music venue all rolled into one. At lunchtime, fill up with baby back ribs, 12-hour smoked brisket in a bun or a roast chicken salad with pak choy and soy dressing. The Earlsfield is also “ideal for a Sunday dinner” – so bag a booth and tuck into a goats’ cheese parcel with pickled beets, deep-fried calamari with chilli jam and meaty birds from the rotisserie, followed by mango cheesecake with passion fruit coulis. Local brews from By the Horns in Tooting sit alongside global ales and craft beers, or you can take the cocktail route with a Swine Sour or Gin Mandarin (Broker’s Finest with sweet vermouth, Galliano, homemade elderflower cordial, mandarin and lime juice). Decent global wines too.
