It looks & feels like a traditional pub but under the supervision of Head Chef – Mark Kinzel- the Crabtree has built a reputation for sensational food & a unique wine list. All ingredients are carefully sourced seasonally from independent local producers. Everything Mark buys and creates is of the finest quality – from home baked bread and butter to ice creams, sorbets and preserves, even the rapeseed oil comes from just down the road at Partridge Green! The wine list reflects the strength and depth of viniculture in Sussex today, together with a bohemian selection of organic, vegetarian and vegan wines from around the world. Badger Beers are available on draught for anyone who has a genuine love of great English ale. There is an idyllic orchard garden perfect for sitting &enjoying a foaming pint or a glass of chilled Ridgeview on a warm summer’s evening with amazing views over the glorious Sussex countryside.
