The Colney Fox in London Colney is a country pub oozing rural charm and rustic character. Our picturesque surroundings provide the perfect backdrop for savouring the hearty, seasonal pub-food on our menu, and the carefully nurtured cask ales and fine wines gracing our bar.
The Colney Fox has been around a while and although there are no records pre dating the 1940's, it is thought that it was originally used as a boy's school. In the 1940's and 1950's it was called The Watersplash Hotel, a venue complete with, restaurant and swimming pool. Now restored and renamed, The Colney Fox is still full of heritage and tradition.
Our ivy covered inn is a pleasurable refreshment halt for walkers following the banks of the River Colne, those exploring the nearby nature reserve and for visitors to Willows Farm Village, a unique rural retreat.
