If you're looking for a gorgeous venue in Farnham to host a special soiree, let us introduce the Bush. This independent hotel has been welcoming guests since 1618 and shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon. The Bush boasts centuries-worth of fascinating history evident through its period features, from elegant cornicing and hearty fireplaces, to the stunning outdoor courtyard. 

Today, though, the Bush is very much rooted in the here and now, with a stunning interior design concept across 94 boutique bedrooms and three flexible events spaces. Within the oldest part of the hotel, you'll find The Oak Lounge with a capacity of 50 people standing, or 34 seated. This space features beautiful oak beams and wall panelling, contrasted with atmospheric paintings from local artists and soft lighting. Here, you could host a special dinner or cocktails and canape reception, it's totally up to you.

The Garden Restaurant offers a light, spacious Georgian dining room, an ideal spot for a sit-down meal. On either rounded tables or a long, banquet-style set-up you can host a whopping 80 people seated, or 100 standing. Stand-out features include large windows which bring in lots of natural light and stunning crystal chandeliers overhead. 

Finally, The Redgrave Suite is the jewel in the venue's crown; a purpose built events space recently created in a separate building on the grounds to cater to larger functions. Don't worry, the suite still has a historic feel with wall panelling, high ceilings and crescent windows, as well as newly added floral wall murals for an artistic flair. The Redgrave Suite can host 120 people seated or 150 standing, making it the perfect place to throw the party of the year. 

All catering is provided in house and whether you'd prefer to put on classy nibbles and drinks or a full three-course meal, the team are happy to work with you on your perfect menu.

Sorry it has taken me a little while to get in touch, however better late than  never. I just wanted to say once again, thank you to you and ALL the staff that worked our party on Friday night.  Everyone was so attentive, extremely helpful, so thoughtful, polite and kind – no matter what I asked of them they all reacted so positively and could not be more helpful to me and all my colleagues, from extra water on the tables, handling all our complex food intolerances etc.  Everyone had a great night and I was thrilled to hear that the team kicked off the Christmas celebrations, with our party being party number one of the season. Thank you so much for all your help with the organising of our event.

Everyone said what a great venue it was – we were lucky to be able to enjoy the outside space and the food was great. Afternoon Tea Celebrations!FEBRUARY, 2024

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to you, Hannah and Kash for the wonderful afternoon Tea celebration provided at your Hotel for my mothers 90th Birthday Party. Everything about the afternoon was perfect, Kash met us and helped us put some additional decorations in the room, he could not have been more helpful and attentive throughout the whole day. The room looked beautiful and the whole family had such a wonderful party.We did not feel rushed and the staff were wonderful and cheerful. This was our first large family gathering since before Covid and the whole family loved the venue and the tea, Even the sun came out which was a real bonus. Thank you very much and I believe my parents will be calling in to thank you themselves.
