The Brunswick pub is located on the edge of Leeds city centre, just 15 minutes from the train station. It serves delicious burgers, succulent fried chicken and mouth-watering Sunday roasts alongside a range of ales, wines and cocktails. Spread over two floors, the venue spans both a bar and restaurant. The bar is located on the ground floor with additional seating on the second floor for restaurant diners, as well as a small selection of tables outside, perfect for enjoying a beer with friends in the warmer weather.
The menu consists of crispy buttermilk chicken served with classic aioli, or if you want to try something new, try it with the gochujang sauce and wasabi mayonnaise. The aptly named Brunswick burger consists of two smashed beef patties topped with Emmental and Monterey Jack cheeses, finished off with burger sauce and and pickles, all stuffed into a potato brioche bun. If you want a little more, add the maple bacon jam or try the bacon, egg and pineapple burger. There are also vegetarian and vegan varieties to choose from as well as a selection of sides, including hand-cut double cooked Maris Piper chips; cheese burger fries topped with beef, nacho cheese and burger sauce; mozzarella balls; and pigs in blankets.
On Sundays, dig into the spectacular Brunswick Sunday roast. Choose from topside of beef, porchetta, the chicken supreme or the vegetarian/vegan option. Each of these is served with Yorkshire puddings, crispy roast potatoes, maple syrup glazed carrots, cabbage, gravy and a mini Bloody Mary. There are also sides available to add to your roast such as the baked cheese leeks, truffle mashed potato and pigs in blankets.
