OPENING SEPTEMBER 2019
If you’ve ever gone to Soho with the intention of visiting The Breakfast Club but have been put off by the super-long queue, now may finally be your chance to experience the all-day breakfast joint at this new, second Soho restaurant.
The ever-expanding chain first opened its doors on D’Arblay Street 14 years ago so this second Soho branch round the corner marks a return to where the success all began. Formerly Polpetto (the more formal outpost of the Polpo chain), the site’s Venetian look will be transformed into the quirky 1980s-inspired American diner style The Breakfast Club it is famous for. Expect pun-filled neon signage and brightly coloured booths just waiting to make it to your Instagram grid.
The extensive menu is filled with all the breakfast essentials including the full Monty – its take on a full English – the full vegan and lots of variations on classic egg dishes.
And these truly are all-day breakfasts so, if you’re not a morning person or you just fancy eating banana and salted caramel pancakes at 11pm, this is the place to be. From lunchtime, meanwhile, the breakfasts are joined by the likes of burgers, steaks and chicken and waffles.
The indulgent menu is ideal for those hungover Sundays with bacon, eggs and hash browns featuring throughout. However if you aren’t a big breakfast kind of person, or are just on a health kick, the oat milk porridge or halloumi salad wrap will still keep you satisfied.
So whether you like your breakfast savoury or sweet, early in the morning or late at night, or you just fancy indulging in all the carbs and bacon you can get your hands on, get yourself down to the new breakfast club in Soho for minimal queuing (we hope) and all-day brekkie.
