The Bluebell is a pub style restaurant nestled within the picturesque landscapes of Derbyshire, an area of the Midlands that is loved for its natural beauty and historical charm. The Bluebell is located in the heart of the English countryside, and offers locals and passers by an escape from the hustle and bustle of modern life in a fuss-free, welcoming setting.
A rustic yet elegant interior is what you’ll find inside The Bluebell, giving a cosy ambiance, perfect for intimate dinners or gatherings with friends, and quiet chilly evenings. From classic pub grub like beer battered cod and hearty pies to elevated favourites such as The Bluebell Burger with smoked cheddar, sriracha mayonnaise and hand-cut chips, The Bluebell's menu is a great blend of comfort food and innovation. The enticing dessert menu begins with a light and refreshing strawberry parfait, topped with white chocolate ice cream, before the addition of a local cheese board, mango and lime crème brulée, and a selection of homemade ice creams and sorbets.
A hearty Sunday roast is served between 12 and 3.30pm, with three courses priced at £33. Starters include a smoked salon, pea and baby spinach risotto, with options of roast beef, lamb shoulder and breast of chicken for main. There's a good deal of desserts to choose from, including a chocolate tart with latte ice cream and rum-soaked raisins.
Be aware that The Bluebell is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, and the full menu is served only between 12 and 2.30pm and between 5 and 8pm on Wednesday and Thursday. Dogs are welcome in the outdoor space and bar area, but not in the restaurant-style extension.
